NanoTox 2024 Conference, 23-25 September 2024, Venice (Italy):

  • Penny Nymark from PINK partner Karolinska Institute gave a talk on ‘Validation of NAMs for Nanomaterials: The Importance of Big Data and its FAIRification for Accelerating Risk Assessment’
  • Steffi Friedrichs from AcumenIST presented a poster on the activities and results of the three sister projects ‘CHIASMA, INSIGHT and PINK: An European Approach to Animal-free Safe and Sustainable-by-Design’
  • Martin Himly from PLUS also gave a talk on ‘Computational models and integration approaches to satisfy the industry needs in SSbD-guided research and innovation on advanced materials and chemicals’
  • Andrea Lorenzoni from the project partner CNR spoke about ‘Advancing Safe and Sustainable materials design through Multiscale Modelling and Data Integration’

  • Thomas E. Exner (Seven Past Nine) presented PINK insights in his talk ‘Enabling safe and sustainable material design via interoperable data and modelling tools’

5th SSbD Stakeholder Conference, 5.-6. December 2024, Brussels (Belgium):

  • Thomas E. Exner contributed to the conference with a talk on ‘Material Life Cycles and Value Chains in Maps and Data’

Society of Toxicology (SOT) Annual Meeting & ToxExpo 2025 Conference, 17.-20. March 2025, Orlando (USA):

  • AcumenIST, Steffi Friedrichs, was invited to represent the four projects MACRAMÉ, CHIASMA, INSIGHT and PINK at SOT 2025, as part of the ‘Workshop Session: Integrating New Approach Methodologies to inform sustainable chemical Decisions’.
